pursuant to Section 2.1-344 (a) (3), Code of Virginia (1950), as
amended, to discuss and consider the use of real property for
public purpose and the disposition of publicly held property,
specifically the use and disposition of such properties in con-
nection with potential downtown development.

Dear Mrs. Bowles and Gentlemen:
Pursuant to Section 10, Meetings of Council, of the Roanoke City
Charter, I am calling a Special Meeting of the Council of the
City of Roanoke on Monday, November 13, 1989, at 5:30 p.m., in
the City Council Chamber. The purpose of the meeting will be to
hold an Executive Session, pursuant to Section 2.1-344 (a) (3),
Code of Virginia (1950), as amended, to discuss and consider the
use of real property for public purpose and the disposition of
publicly held property, specifically the use and disposition of
such properties in connection with potential downtown
development.
