Safer Neighborhoods:
• Presentation of Little Blue Truck Video
Education:
• Positive Impact Curriculum Pilot Program in partnership with Family Service of
Roanoke Valley and request for funds:
a. Reaching out to youth organizations to determine their average number of youth
participants so that we may determine total cost for Positive Action
Implementation
b. $4,000.00 for Positive Action training of youth partner organizations
c. $15.00 per child for implementation of the program (30 children = $450)
Gang Violence Reduction and Incarceration Recidivism:
• Report on Comprehensive Gang Violence Reduction Model
City Services and Rapid Response:
• Rapid Response Resource Flyer
Marketing and Communication:
• Report on Initial Strategic Planning Session. Next date: February 26, 2021 –
12:30-2:30 pm
7. Working Group Break Out Sessions to continue work on priority initiatives, action items,
budget recommendations and action items.
